Artist Bio

Susan Noyes is a visual artist working with everyday materials, Her work addresses the displacement of feelings onto objects.

She has found new inspiration from living in Italy the past three years, where patterns in marble church floors captivated her attention.

Susan Noyes grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She received a B.F.A. in painting from George Mason University in 2003, and she earned an M.F.A. from the same university in 2006.
